I chose to discuss the Temple of Nemesis or the Sanctuary of Nemesis, in Rhamnous, an ancient Greek fortified town. The temple was started to be built around 460-450 BC and was completed by 430-420 BC. The temple was dedicated to Nemesis, the goddesses of happiness and misery, which she blessed or cursed the mortals with, and also punished those who believed in the “hubris” or the notion that they were in control of their own destinies.
